Solution three: Plug the All-in-One directly into an electrical outlet Plug the product directly into an electrical outlet to make sure that the power source functions correctly. If the issue persists, continue to the next solution. If these steps resolved the issue, you do not need to continue troubleshooting. Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product. Lift the scanner lid, and then carefully line up and install the control panel overlay. Locate the control panel overlay, and then peel off the paper backing to expose the adhesive. Disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product. NOTE:If you have already installed the control panel overlay, proceed to the next solution. Press firmly on the overlay to ensure proper installation of the overlay adhesive or pins.
If you already installed the control panel overlay, and your printer has been working for some time, do not attempt to reinstall the overlay. If the product has not been set up before, ensure correct installation of the control panel overlay by following the instructions below. Solution two: Make sure that the control panel overlay is installed correctly If the control panel overlay, or bezel, is incorrectly installed, the product might indicate a false error condition. With the power on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
